Jana is a children’s mental health professional and has a Masters in School Counseling. She specializes in teaching children social and emotional learning (SEL) skills. She is passionate about teaching concepts of mindfulness, self-regulation, and helping all children develop a positive mindset at the earliest age possible. Research has proven intrapersonal and interpersonal skills should be explicitly taught, just as we learn and develop all other skills in life such as, math, science, reading, and music. Jana has been teaching yoga to children in public schools for the past five years. She believes one of the most enjoyable and fun ways to learn mindfulness is through the practice of yoga! Jana is also a ChildLight Certified Baby and Toddler Yoga Instructor. She loves every moment of teaching yoga and concepts of mindfulness to babies, toddlers, and their families.
