Hello! I’m Alysha and I’m a dog mama that loves podcasts, any snack that is a combo of chocolate with peanut butter, bubble baths, and being out in nature. Since 2004 I’ve been sharing my passion for self-care and healing through teaching yoga. It is such a blessing to be leading others towards feeling better through finding their inner ability to relax deeply, breath fully, and reconnect with their body while learning how to meditate in a way that is simple and accessible. I completed my first 200 Hour Teacher Training Program at The White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara CA. I then returned to White Lotus the following year and completed the Advanced Teacher Training Program with Ganga White and Tracey Rich. I’ve also completed a 200 Hour Teacher Training Program with Naime Jezzeny and Sue Elkind (DIG Yoga).
Over the last decade I have taken several Restorative Yoga trainings with two of my favorite yogis, Judith Lasater and Jillian Pransky. Some of the other nationally recognized Vinyasa Flow Yoga teachers I have trained under and studying alongside include Seane Corn, Jason Crandell, Elena Brower, and Stephanie Snyder. I specialize in Restorative Yoga, which is a practice where you stay in the postures for extended periods of time while being fully supported by various props such as blankets, blocks, bolsters, and sandbags. By request, classes are enhanced with the sound of my alchemy crystal bowl, which is tuned to the key of F, which vibrates at the same frequency as our heart chakra, or energy center.
In 2017 I became a doTERRA essential oils Wellness Advocate. This has given me the opportunity to share my enthusiasm and knowledge of these gifts from the earth with families all over the country. It is an honor to guide others towards more natural solutions for their health and in their homes. It has also been a ton of fun to weave the oils into my yoga and meditation practice as well as my classes. They truly enhance the atmosphere and raise the vibration in any room! I feel that I am here to remind us all of the power and intuition that lies within us that allows us to listen to the light within our hearts so that we can let it effortlessly guide us in everything that we do.
