For 13 years, ChildLight has been offering unique camps for kids focused on the development of the whole child. Our summer camp counselors are experienced educators and kids’ yoga teachers who LOVE, connect with, and inspire children and teens every day. Camp themes and activities are specially chosen for their enriching qualities and alignment with our goal of offering children a fun, empowering, educational, and creativity-boosting camp experience. Children will enjoy a nurturing, supportive, non-competitive atmosphere, will stretch, strengthen and energize their bodies and minds, learn to express themselves creatively and compassionately, practice working cooperatively in large and small groups, be introduced to activities they may not have tried before, learn self-regulation techniques, develop special friendships and have loads of fun!
Yoga & Mindfulness Adventure Camp - In Person
Geared for PreK (age 4) – G1, this camp at Berwick Academy is all about exploring concepts such as kindness, honesty, generosity, balance, and gratitude through mindful movement, breath awareness, stories, songs, mindful crafts, and calming practices. Yoga mats are provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own.

Geared for Grades 2 – 5, this camp at Berwick Academy is all about adventure and exploration. Join us for a full-day experience exploring the themes of earth, water, fire, air and ether through mindful movement, breath, exercises, simple meditation practices, nature crafts, storytelling and mindful games. Each day, one of the five elements will be explored, inviting campers to experience a new sense of understanding and connection as they examine how these ideas relate to the environment.

Stretches & Smiles - Virtual
Bring some creativity and calm to your summer with this fun series focused on mindful movement and sharing positivity. We’ll explore ways we can do good and give back – to ourselves, our family and friends, our community and our planet. Each week will include:
- Yoga postures and games
- Mindful activity
- Breath work
- Creative ways to be in-service and share our good vibes
- At-home activity / project – emailed to you after class

Mindful Mornings - TBD
Start your week off with a Mindful Monday Morning! Join us as we explore the five senses through yoga, mindfulness, service and just plain FUN!!! Each week will include:
- Mindful activity
- Posture(s) through stories, songs or games
- One of the five senses
- Ways we can be of service using our senses
- “Take home” activity/project – emailed to you after class
Girl Powerment Camp - TBD
Girls ages 9 – 12 years old get EMPOWERED during this uplifting and inspiring camp experience! Girls will develop physical and emotional strength and a strong sense of self through the practice of yoga and mindfulness-infused activities, discussions and projects focused on self-reflection, self-care (spa day), body image and the influence of media, community outreach projects and more. In a safe and nurturing space designed to cultivate connection and friendships, girls will be encouraged to think ‘outside of the box’ and find their authentic voice by learning about inspirational, famous (and not so famous) females, what it means to be a leader, and standing up for what’s right with a clear and compassionate voice. There will also be giddiness, play, and lots of laughter during this special week designed to encourage girls to be girls, together!
